JAPÃO – NOÇÕES GERAIS

O Japão, em japonês Nippon (terra do sol nascente), é um império insular composto de quatro grandes ilhas, cuja superfície total é apenas 369.000 quilômetros quadrados, mas cuja população atinge 83 milhões. As produções principais são a seda, o arroz e o chá. A pesca ocupa um lugar excepcional na vida econômica, pois o peixe é o alimento da maioria dos japoneses.

JAPAN - GENERAL CONCEPTS
